Feh.

Honey, it's cold in here

We've sort of been getting the ass end of the hurricanes here in Jersey... I noticed this saturday morning, because my room had developed a waterfall all sudden-like. Once I had closed the window and confirmed that the water was (mostly) on the outside, I went back to bed.

Sunday morning I realized the weather had changed because it was 40 degrees in my room. It had been hot and nasty all week, so I had all the windows open to get a nice cross breeze... Enough windows were still open that it got nice and cold and I got to play "Where the @#^% are my winter sheets" for a while, then went back to bed.

(This morning, it was nice and warm, until I made the mistake of getting out of bed. Might be time to turn the heat on.)

The theme of the weekend was "sleep". I did a lot of it, but on the plus side I fell less sick than I did on Friday. And despite getting a good 10 hours Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, I could really go for a nap right now. Hopefully I'll adjust to the temperature soon, or else it'll just randomly get warm again. Fall has always been my favorite time of year, but normally it doesn't sneak up on me like this.

SH4 is messed up... It is so messed up. Yay for plot twists! Yay for totally random (but carefully themed) disturbing shit outa nowhere! I love it.

Hmph.

(Insert funny work story here)

I would recount more amusing anecdotes about work here... But... They're starting to get formulaic, and most of them can be summed up with:

"So this obnoxious client of ours called/emailed me, and complained about something which is not our fault, but his/her fault, and in fact is evidence that he/she isn't fit to use a computer without supervision, much less run a business."

Ba-dum-bump Ching! (applause)

Thank you, thank you... I'll be here all week.
